Ski Glove Sizing Guide

Everyone knows what shoe size they take, but do you know what glove size you are? We’re here to help you figure it out.

Getting the correct size glove is essential to its performance - too big, and cold air will circulate between your glove and your hand, too small and your hand will compress the insulative layers, squeezing out the air essential to keeping you warm. The correct size glove will trap a layer of air for your body to warm up, insulating your hands and keeping you comfortable.

Confusingly, glove sizes vary between brands, so a 9 in Hestra may not be the same as a 9 in Dakine. The Ski Glove Shop has a size guide on every product page to help you convert your measurements into a brand size.

The guides are specific to each product, so make sure to use the correct guide for the product or products you wish to purchase.

To find your size, first start by measuring the circumference around your hand using a tape measure. For accurate results, measure from just above the thumb.

For Hestra gloves, you can also measure the distance between the bottom of your palm and the tip of your middle finger.

You can then use your measurements, combined with the size guides on our product pages, to find the correct size glove for your hands.

If you’re still unsure which size is right for you, we recommend ordering multiple sizes and simply returning the ones that don’t fit.

If you have particularly narrow or broad hands, or very short or long fingers, we advise you to get in contact with our team of experts, either by using the chat service on the website, or by emailing us at help@skigloveshop.co.uk so that we can help you find the perfect product.
